Day 1
Arrival to Kiev. Meet & greet at the Borispol airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner at the restaurant.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
07:00-09:30 Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00-14:00 Panoramic city tour of Kiev, which is the capital of Ukraine and also the mother city for all Eastern Slavic peoples. More than 1100 years ago Kievan Rus, a powerful European monarchy, was established on Ukrainian territory. The modern centre & the remains of the old city are both on the hilly west bank of the Dnipro, third largest river in Europe after the Volga and the Danube.
Visit to St. Sophia Cathedral & Monastery, enlisted into World Heritage of UNESCO. The main of special value are wall pictures of the 11th century – 260m² of mosaics and 3000m² of frescos, that make up a unique ensemble of the Middle Age of World Culture History.
13:00-14:00 Lunch at the city restaurant.
14:00-17:00 Excursion to the Ukrainian Museum of Folk Architecture - the Folk Life and Traditions Museum (scansen). Founded 1969 as National reserve of culture. The area covers 159 hectares of picturesque sites, where more than 300 monuments of folk building tradition are located. The collection of the reserve amounts to 80 000 objects.
Day 3
10:00-13:00 Visit to the golden-domed Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Monastery. The architectural ensemble (the 11th -19th centuries) of the Upper and Lower Lavra, two underground labyrinths of caves lined with mummified monks, churches and permanent exhibitions of the museum’s collections, the Big Bell Tower are open to public. During this tour you will visit underground labyrinths of caves with mummies of monks. Visit to the Museum of Historic Treasures which is situated on the territory of the Monastery. Of exception value is a collection of Scythian gold. Museum of Miniatures.
13:00-14:00 Lunch at the restaurant “Tsarske Selo”, located next to the Lavra Monastery.
Day 4
Kiev - Yalta
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out & departure transfer to the Borispol airport.
Transfer to Yalta. Breakfast at the local restaurant on the way to Yalta. Check in.
Excursion to the Livadia Palace, the summer residence of the Czar Nicholas II for whom this Italian Renaissance-style palace with Byzantine, Arabic & Gothic elements was built in 1911. In February 1945 it was the setting for the Yalta conference – historic summit of three anti-Hitler coalition member states, the USSR, represented by Stalin, the USA, represented by Roosevelt & the Great Britain, represented by Churchill. Here the exhibits from the museums of Crimea and private collections are also displayed.
Visit to Chekhov house-museum, garden and exhibition hall with innumerable editions of his works. The world known writer lived here until May, 1904.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Day 5
Yalta
Tour to a small settlement of Massandra that lies down on the slopes of green picturesque coastal hills. Visit to the Massandra Palace completed in 1902 for the family of Alexander III & was used as a hunting-lodge or day retreat. The house, designed by a French architect in the style of a grand chateau, contains a collection of fine arts & furniture. A short ride will take you to Massandra winery situated in a canyon, the spurs of which are densely covered with century old pine woods. Built in the form of tetragon in 1894-1897, it is in full harmony with surrounding scenery & long tunnels penetrating granite rocks, going deep into the mountains. You’ll have an introduction to the regional wines with, of course, an opportunity to sample and purchase some of the best from the Massandra winery.
Day 6
Yalta
Tour to Alupka Palace & Park Reserve, designed and build 1828-1846 by architect Blore as the Crimean residence of Count Vorontsov. The architecture of its facades, luxurious interior settings demonstrate talented synthesis of Late English Gothic & Moorish styles.
Lunch at a fairy-tale Swallow’s Nest castle (1912).
Return to Yalta. Free time.
Day 7
Yalta – Kiev - Tehran
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out & departure transfer to the airport. Departure to Kiev. Meet in the “Borispil Airport”. Departure to Tehran.
